Hermes Creative Award
DataPath received the 2019 Hermes Creative Gold Award for telling its unique story through an interactive, multi-step communications piece. Themed around the extreme outdoors and “No Boundaries” slogan, the piece focuses on the three top values that encompasses who DataPath is: experience, technology, and support.
Founded in 1984, DataPath has been around longer than any of its competitors in the benefits administration software industry. During the past three decades, the Little Rock based company has achieved numerous milestones. Highlights include:
- 1990s: Launched FSA, MERP and MSA administration systems
- 2000s: Released HRA, HSA and COBRA administration systems
- 2010s: Launched Summit as the only cloud-based platform for all-in-one CDH account and COBRA administration, introduced the industry’s only client rewards program, and developed award-winning employee education and engagement programs
While DataPath’s longevity is central to its identity, the company is also known around the industry for its revolutionary technology. Since releasing a Flexible Spending Account (Section 125) administration solution in 1991, DataPath has created best-in-class solutions for MERP and MSA in 1995, HRA and COBRA solutions in 2003, and HSAToday® (its first HSA platform) in 2005.
DataPath then developed and launched Summit, the industry’s only cloud-based solution built specifically to provide third party administrators with a singular, all-in-one solution for seamless CDH account and COBRA administration.
In 2018, the company included all-in-one HSA capabilities, including custodial banking and investments to Summit. In 2019, direct and retiree billing were added.
DataPath has also created an electronic storage system for receipts and related benefits documentation called ClaimsVault®; in 2010, the company was awarded a patent for this groundbreaking technology.
The third pillar of DataPath’s identity is customer support. For over three decades, the company has been committed to providing superior customer support to its clients.
With a U.S.-based call center staffed by experienced and knowledgeable representatives and online help, DataPath delivers responsive and courteous technical support. It is also fully invested in its clients’ business success through ancillary support by way of an award-winning partner marketing program and the industry’s only client rewards program.
