Software Implementation Consultant

Job description

DataPath, Inc. is seeking someone with a SaaS implementation background to join our team. This role is a hands-on consulting role where you will work with the client to understand their business goals, business processes, and help them set up our SaaS solution (Summit). You will leverage your great communication skills to manage a project implementation and configure our systems to meet business requirements.


You will work with other members of the Sales, Support and Client Success teams to delight our customers. Responsibilities will include:

  • Evangelizing DataPath and Summit
  • Evaluating customer needs and designing a high quality implementation solution to meet those needs
  • Managing Summit implementation projects
  • Working with customers to setup a project plan and deliver upon it
  • Providing consulting services for onboarding customers, feature improvements or feature requests
  • Establishing and maintaining great relationships with clients as a trusted advisor, providing informed, reliable and professional advice about our solution
  • Assisting with proposal development and sales demonstrations
  • Configuring and presenting both standard and custom demonstrations to showcase specific capabilities to prospects

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience consulting on an enterprise SaaS based software product
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to multitask multiple implementation and clients
  • Exceptional presentation skills – you must be comfortable explaining concepts during customer-facing meetings, including C-Level clients
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
