Governor’s Quality Award

DataPath, Inc, a software development company that builds powerful software systems that administer healthcare benefit plans and specialized payment solutions, was awarded a Governor’s Quality Award on September 15, 2015. DataPath was one of six recipients of the Challenge Award, and company president, John Robbins Jr., was on hand to accept the honor.

The Governor’s Quality Award is administered and presented by the Arkansas Institute for Performance Excellence.  According to the Institute’s website, the award “was developed to provide an opportunity for all organizations in the state to be recognized for their progress in the journey of performance excellence…- in short, any organization interested in improving quality, productivity, and financial effectiveness.”

DataPath, who has been in business since 1984, demonstrated quality awareness and understanding in seven key areas:

  1. Leadership
  2. Strategic Planning
  3. Customer and Market Focus
  4. Measurement, Analysis and Knowledge Management
  5. Human Resource Focus
  6. Process Management
  7. Results

John Robbins Jr., acknowledged the progress the company has made, “DataPath’s leadership and associates are working hard every day to be the best company we can be, from bottom to top. This is an ongoing process and the Challenge Award shows that our hard work is paying off. I’m very proud of the commitment from everyone who works at DataPath.”
