DataPath Teams Up to Give Thanks and Donate Food

Donate FoodDataPath recently teamed up with the Watershed to donate food. The 2015 holiday season officially kicked off across the country with the annual Thanksgiving celebration. For many people, it is a time to gather together and give thanks for their many blessings. However, there are some who are unable to enjoy the feast and participate in the revelry.

DataPath, a Little Rock-based company, saw this as an opportunity for its associates to pull together to help provide meals for underprivileged people in Central Arkansas. Employees donated over 100 non-perishable food items, including rice, dry beans, canned fruits and vegetables, instant mashed potatoes, dressing, pie fillings, and more.

All items were donated to Watershed, a non-profit organization founded in 1978 that is committed to serving the Little Rock community by “feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, housing the homeless, cheering the fallen, providing jobs for the jobless, administering to those in crisis and encouraging economic development and self-sufficiency.” Every year the organization cooks and provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for the less fortunate during the holiday season.

DataPath is grateful for the generosity and giving spirit of our team members, which helped Watershed fulfill part of its mission and made our neighbors’ holiday a little brighter.
