Client Success Consultant – Software Sales

Position Overview

DataPath, Inc. is seeking a Client Success Consultant – Software Sales to make immediate contributions to the critical work of the Sales team.

The primary goals of this position are to ensure client satisfaction; further establish our current relationship with assigned accounts; generate additional revenues within each account by selling DataPath ancillary software products and services. The successful candidate will also be responsible for being aware of existing clients’ business strategies and business issues as it pertains to DataPath products and services. In order to accomplish these goals this individual will work with multiple departments to ensure the clients’ needs are met in a timely and appropriate manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fulfill Orders and cross-sell opportunities from assigned accounts
  • Gain and demonstrate knowledge of accounts’ local market, key relationships, competitors, challenges and sales strategies
  • Management of partner relationships
  • Effectively communicate the value of DataPath solutions at both business and technical levels
  • Answer product-related questions
  • Provide a conduit from the client to the DataPath Product Group regarding product enhancements and customization requests
  • Address technical questions regarding product functionality and custom development
  • Create and deliver prospect and client product demonstrations
  • Participate in pre-sales phone conferences and on-site visits
  • Attend tradeshows and partner conference sessions and perform product demonstrations
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of work time
  • Maintain activities within CRM system
  • Update and maintain critical information, including contacts and account profile page, of each account within CRM
  • Client on-boarding project management
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments to ensure client issues are resolved

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or five years’ experience in an account management or customer support role 
  • Successful track record of building and maintaining strong relationships ranging from senior level executives to technical contacts
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software sales process
  • Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups including the ability to adapt the direction of a presentation to meet the emerging needs of the audience
  • Experience in making presentations to large and small audiences
  • Flexibility so as to effectively handle and adjust to changes in schedules and assignments
  • Ability to nurture relationships and to take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty
