Job description for Senior Account Executive

The Account Executive will be responsible for acquiring new clients in an assigned territory. The Account Executive will specifically focus on the promotion and selling of DataPath software solutions for the administration of various benefit reimbursement arrangements such as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Pre-Tax Transportation and Parking Arrangements, and COBRA.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with contacts, business leaders, team members and the management team
  • Identify and maintain a list of prospects through cold calling, networking, social media and referrals
  • Uncover the critical business needs of the customer and provide a professional, structured sales presentation and solution
  • Provide accurate forecasts
  • Achieve or exceed assigned quota
  • Complete required training and professional development objectives

Education and Experience:

The preferred candidate will possess a Bachelor Degree and have at least two (2+) years’ experience in sales or account management

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the health insurance landscape
  • Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Application
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills
  • Results oriented and possesses an urgency to move market quickly
  • Must be well-organized, a self-starter, a quick learner and change-adaptive
